The audio piece from the album The Empty Vessel Soundscape in Ten Parts with the vocal parts of early music and Irish traditional singer Caitriona O'Leary was installed in the Cathedral of Saint Patrick and Saint Felim in Cavan Town and was played on a loop  for the evening of Friday September 17 for Culture Night 2021.  The sounds came through the Cathedral in house PA system.

The piece ran in its entirety of the ten parts from a cd on Repeat.  It was not a formal sit down performance so visitors to the event or to the Cathedral were able to stay for as long or as little time as they chose. Similar to the Chapel Royal event of 2020 most visitors stayed approximately half an hour and therefore experienced most of the parts.

Completed in 1942, the historic and spectacular Cathedral of Saint Patrick and Saint Felim is the most dominant building in Cavan Town.

With its 68m spire and flanking domes, the Roman Catholic cathedral of Saints Patrick and Felim is one of the most impressive and eye-catching buildings Cavan Town. Completed in 1942, the vast interior is shaped like a basilica and extensive use is made of different colours of marble. The cathedral is neo-classical in style with a single spire.
